Last updated: 12 September 2026. By James Worthington. 18+. BeGambleAware.org. We re-checked the three operator welcome pages and UKGC LCCP 5.1.1 on this date. The May 2026 screenshots below are historical captures.
Free spins with zero wagering on winnings convert what you hit to cash without a rollover on those spin winnings. The list below covers three UKGC-licensed casinos that still advertise that structure. Unlock rules, expiry and KYC still apply. These are not no-deposit offers.
The UK Gambling Commission’s LCCP social-responsibility code 5.1.1 limits wagering requirements on bonus funds to a maximum of 10 times. That change came into force on 19 January 2026. It is a ceiling, not a default. Casumo’s UK card now follows the operator welcome checked on 12 September 2026 (50% up to £100, 10x on the bonus). WinoMania’s live-card figures are hidden because we could not first-party verify a current welcome package. Zero wagering on spin winnings is still the only structure with no rollover at all.
The listing cards show the UKGC welcome checked on 12 September 2026: 100% up to £50 with 10x on the first deposit, plus 11 wager-free spins. Each operator’s welcome-bonus page still also prints a separate MGA block of 100% up to £200 with 35x for other markets. UK players are under the UKGC licence.
| Casino | Wager-free offer | Real restrictions |
|---|---|---|
| Mr Vegas | 11 spins on Pink Elephants 2 | New players; first deposit within 24 hours; activate in 7 days; use in 24 hours; KYC before first cashout |
| Videoslots | 11 spins on Starburst | New players; first deposit within 24 hours; activate in 7 days; use in 24 hours; KYC before first cashout |
| LeoVegas | 50 spins on Big Bass Splash | Opt in; £10+ deposit; 1x qualifying play on eligible casino games within 7 days; 3-day spin expiry |
About the LeoVegas offer: The 50 spins themselves are wager-free. LeoVegas’s welcome T&Cs (fetched 12 September 2026) say free spins are worth 10p each and winnings are withdrawable, with no win cap stated. Before those spins are credited you must opt in, deposit £10 or more within 7 days of registering, and complete 1x qualifying play on eligible casino games. That 1x is qualifying play on the deposit, not wagering on spin winnings. Mr Vegas and Videoslots credit their 11 spins after a first deposit — they still require that deposit within 24 hours, a named slot, and a short use window.
The three images below were captured from a UK IP on 9 May 2026. They are historical. We fetched the same operator pages again on 12 September 2026.

On a standard free-spins promotion, winnings sit in a bonus balance with a wagering requirement attached. A 10x rule on £20 of winnings means £200 must be staked before withdrawal. That 10x figure is the UKGC ceiling in LCCP 5.1.1 — not proof that every operator card now uses 10x. A 10x rollover is still a real cost. Most spin winnings never clear it.
Zero wagering on the spins means those winnings transfer to your cash balance without a further playthrough on that win. It does not remove the deposit, the named game, the expiry clock, or identity checks. It does not make a first withdrawal instant.
The trade-off operators make: wager-free spins are usually fewer in number and tied to a specific slot at a fixed stake per spin. The structures above are typical: 11 to 50 spins on one named slot. There is no version here of 200 wager-free spins at £1 per spin. We are not inventing larger offers.
Imagine you trigger £20 of winnings from a free-spins offer. Compare two outcomes.
10x wagering offer (UKGC maximum, if an operator uses the cap): The £20 sits in a bonus balance. To unlock it you must place wagers totalling £200, usually on slots that contribute 100 percent toward wagering. House edge over those wagers still costs you money before the bonus clears. This is an illustration of the legal ceiling — not a claim that every UK card uses 10x.
0x wagering on spin winnings: The £20 transfers to your real-money balance when the spins finish. You can request a withdrawal after the cashier and KYC rules allow it. Unused welcome spins at Mr Vegas and Videoslots are forfeited if you withdraw.
“Low wagering” claims of 1x or 5x are sometimes marketed as “almost no wagering”. They are not, if that number applies to the winnings. LeoVegas’s 1x is qualifying play on the deposit before wager-free spins are awarded — do not read that 1x as wagering on the spin winnings.
The three offers above each tie spins to a single named slot. Knowing the game helps you read the offer. RTP figures below are the published game figures we already had on this page; we did not re-test them on 12 September 2026.
Pink Elephants 2 (Mr Vegas). A Thunderkick release with cluster-style wins on a 6-reel grid. Bonus reels with stacked symbols and multipliers. Medium to high volatility. The operator free-spins page we fetched does not state a stake per spin in the key T&Cs.
Starburst (Videoslots). NetEnt’s classic 5-reel slot. 96.09 percent RTP, low volatility, win-both-ways pay. The free-spins T&Cs lock the 11 Welcome Spins to Starburst. They do not state a stake per spin in the key terms we fetched.
Big Bass Splash (LeoVegas). A Pragmatic Play fishing-themed slot. Money Wilds during free-spin rounds. Medium to high volatility, 96.71 percent RTP. LeoVegas T&Cs dated as fetched on 12 September 2026 set each welcome free spin at 10p. That is the stake, not a £5 maximum win. Bonus features can return more than the 10p stake on a single spin.
Every UKGC-licensed operator must verify your identity before processing a first withdrawal. Standard KYC includes proof of identity (passport or driving licence), proof of address (utility bill or bank statement issued within the last 90 days), and age confirmation. Verification often happens on registration but can also be triggered at withdrawal time.
Wager-free spin winnings are subject to the same KYC. Cash converting quickly does not bypass the check, and it does not force the payment provider to pay out instantly. Plan for document checks plus ordinary cashier times.
Three reasons.
First, the maths. A wager-free spin pays the win as cash with no rollover on that win. Operators run them as short, headline acquisition offers rather than ongoing promotions because the per-spin liability is higher than under a 10x — or a higher non-UK deposit-bonus structure.
Second, the 2026 UKGC ceiling changed the legal maximum on bonus-fund wagering. It did not force every published card to 10x overnight. Casumo’s UK card now follows the operator welcome checked on 12 September 2026 (50% up to £100, 10x on the bonus). WinoMania’s live-card figures are hidden because we could not first-party verify a current welcome package.
Third, the wager-free angle is small in search volume but useful as a differentiator. Most UK welcome packages still attach wagering to bonus funds even when the spins themselves are clean.
The spin winnings have no extra playthrough. You still need a first deposit (all three offers use a £10 minimum). They are not no-deposit promotions. Named games, expiry and KYC still apply.
The spins are wager-free once credited. They are not credited until you have opted in, deposited £10 or more within 7 days of registering, and completed 1x qualifying play on eligible casino games. Slots, instants and Slingo can count; table games and live casino do not, according to the welcome T&Cs we fetched. That 1x is not wagering on the spin winnings.
We list operators we have a direct partnership with, so we can check the offer terms against the source. Other UKGC-licensed casinos may also run wager-free spin promotions. We do not list them here because we cannot guarantee the terms first-hand.
The maths. A wager-free spin pays the win without a rollover on that win. Operators run them as headline acquisition offers, with small spin counts, a fixed slot and a low stake per spin, rather than as ongoing promotions.
No. Wager-free means no extra playthrough on the spin winnings — not an instant payout. First withdrawals need UKGC identity checks. Payment-method times still apply. Mr Vegas and Videoslots forfeit remaining unused welcome spins if you withdraw. LeoVegas’s welcome T&Cs say you may withdraw your real-money balance without affecting the reward, but KYC and cashier times still apply.
No. LCCP 5.1.1 (in force since 19 January 2026) sets a maximum of 10 times on bonus-fund wagering, not a default of 0x. A 10x offer still requires you to stake the bonus ten times. Casumo’s UK card now follows the operator welcome checked on 12 September 2026 (50% up to £100, 10x on the bonus). WinoMania’s live-card figures are hidden because we could not first-party verify a current welcome package. Zero wagering on spin winnings is the only structure with no rollover on those winnings.
No. The wager-free spins and the deposit match (where you claim one) are separate. Spin winnings convert to cash. On 12 September 2026, Mr Vegas and Videoslots UKGC welcome-bonus T&Cs stated 10x on a 100% match up to £50. The UK cards now follow that GCGB block. The MGA block on the same operator pages still stated 35x on up to £200 for other markets.
